History

Past leadership

AES was founded in Spring 2004 by Conor Sutherland '06 and James Kelly '06. The club has had continuous student leadership since then. The tradition of handing the organization off each December ensures the incoming board has a full term of overlap with the outgoing one before spring leadership transitions take effect.

Past boards are encouraged to stay connected with AES and are welcome to return as colloquium guests after graduation.
